At this time, Webb’s House of Doberman is not actively offering stud services. We do occasionally make select males available on a limited basis.
What studs do you use in your program?
Our studs are 100% European-line, AKC registered, and come from proven champion and working pedigrees. All are health-tested prior to being considered for breeding.
Will you offer stud services in the future?
Yes — we may occasionally open stud opportunities to approved females. These pairings are considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure compatibility, health, and preservation of the breed standard. We not onlly research your dogs pedigree, health testing, and longevity in the lines. We also utilize programs in making sure that the "match" is in the best interest and betterment of the breed. We do not just allow for a stud fee to make money off of.
How can I be considered if a stud becomes available?
If you are interested in future opportunities, please reach out to us directly to discuss your program and be notified when a stud is offered.
Our Guardian Program allows ONLY approved families to raise one of our top-quality breeding prospects in their home while partnering with us in our preservation breeding program. This ensures our dogs live as beloved family members while contributing to the future of the breed.
Do you have a guardian home program?
Yes. We place select breeding prospects in approved guardian homes within 2 hours of Indianapolis, Indiana.
How long are dogs in the program?
Males: up to 4 years being used as a STUD or until 6 years of age.
Females: We limit each female to a MAXIMUM of 3 litters. We also have only 1 litter a year to keep our dogs in great shape and avoid any physical strain. This way they stay healthy and happy throughout the program and don't develop that kind of sagging or loss of muscle tone that can come from overbreeding.
Are you selective about guardian families?
Yes. We are VERY selective about our guardian homes. We also only have a limited number of guardian homes we allow in our program. Families must live within a 2-hour radius of Indianapolis so we can easily coordinate vet visits, health testing, and breeding needs.
What are the guardian family requirements?
Live within 2 hours of Indianapolis
Safe, loving, stable home
Secure fenced yard
Provide quality food and routine vet care (annual vaccines, flea/tick prevention, Heart-worm prevention, etc.)
Commit to training and socialization
Maintain regular communication with us
Make the dog available for health testing and breeding as needed
Sign and follow the guardian contract
What costs do guardian families cover?
Guardian families cover normal daily care such as food, toys, annual vaccines, flea/tick prevention, emergencies that arise that are not associated with breeding, and grooming.
What costs does Webb’s House of Doberman cover?
We cover all expenses related to the breeding program, including:
The dog itself (placed at half cost or less, than you would pay for a standard puppy then that cost is refunded to you after dogs first litter or second stud appt and you are proven to be in good standing of the contract.) This allows you to get a free Doberman.
DNA testing
OFA certifications (hips, eyes, cardiac echoes)
Holter monitoring
Reproductive veterinary care
